    If you are indeed a web designer or developer who does work in the global market, do not submit to this broad category, but to the appropriate sub category beneath it. Use your company name -- which in this category will determine your site title.

    Designers for writers, musicians and others in the Arts and Entertainment industry.

    WARNING:

    Your site will NOT be listed if it is only artistic. It must be that you are a web developer for the Arts and Entertainment industry. This means that you only build web sites for musicians (see appropriate subcategory), dancers, artists, etc.

    If you do not design solely for these groups, you should submit your site elsewhere to ensure a quicker inclusion in the directory.

    Designers primarily focused on offering free web design services, excluding those bundling the service with hosting or other promotional packages that are not free. This does not include sites designed strictly from templates, unless the actual creator of the templates is the designer and their services are included for free.

    If your primary focus is doing paid design work, with the pro bono work a small part of the company, please submit your site to the appropriate letter category, not here. Submitting here will just delay your submission from getting listed.

    Those offering their templates for free should request to be added to Computers/Graphics/Web/Templates/ instead.

    Those offering automated site creation through an online software package should request to be added to Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Authoring/Online_Tools/ instead.

    Tutorials on creating sites should be submitted to Computers/Education/Internet/Help_and_Tutorials/.

    Designers primarily focused on offering free web design services, excluding those bundling the service with hosting or other promotional packages that are not free. This does not include sites designed strictly from templates, unless the actual creator of the templates is the designer and their services are included for free.

    Freelance

    Who Belongs in This Category?

    bulletIndividuals not affiliated with a company or organization offering web design
    bulletWeb design is part time, a secondary income, or a hobby
    bulletStudents offering their resume, specific web-related training, and samples of skills (can include portfolios of sites designed if available) with employment as the primary goal of the web site.

    How to Title your Site and Submit to the Correct Category:
    bulletSites in this area should be titled using the name of the freelancer, followed by the title the site: "Last Name, First Name - Title"
    bulletIf the title of the site is the person's name use just "Last Name, First Name".
    Place sites in categories according to the first letter in the title you have given the site (last name, or site title depending on the above).
